I'm proud to be a Saxon. the teachers here are great and tough. but because of us students are motivated to try even harder and challenge ourselves. I am in the I.B program and it is super tough but the teachers are very supportive and help me through it. Sports here are AWESOME! i play quite a few sports here and i enjoy every single thing about it. I just wish i could have joined more instead of just one per season. Once a Saxon always a Saxon!

Loara itself is a great place to learn, they are in the transition of having new teachers who were once Saxons themselves teach the students. The teachers are great, could not have a better bunch. The student atmosphere is just wonderful, not too many fights or conflict at our school as some would imagine our school to have. We now have a new set of Councilors. At first I was against them, however given time, I've seen the wonderful services they provide for us, I know appreciate them. The only problem our school has is the Administration. I've been put down by them numerous of times already. Punishment for behavior that used to be appropriate has risen.

Teachers are to overwhelm with the number of students per classroom. It is very hard to get any personal attention with the counselors if you ever get to know who it is PTA could be more proactive, I signed up for PTA and no one ever contact me. They could do more than selling baked goods on sporting events.

Loara high school is the seriously the best place to take your child if they are interested in music, Loara practices the least out of all the (that means less driving around and Saturdays practices are from 8 to 12 instead of 9 to 5!)high school bands, and they win.Loara has very strong traditions and a culture unique to its own.

Loara High School offers students of all abilities to succeed. It is only one of two schools in the Anaheim school district to offer the International Baccalaureate Program. Out of the past 9 student representatives to the district board of trustees, nine have come from Loara High School. The IB program is the biggest asset to the school and it has a wonderful coordinator, Mr. Higger. If you are interested in the IB program, contact the coordinator. Loara also has one of the top ASB in the entire state and the wresting team has won state championships for how many years in a row I have lost count. The other sports are not as recognized, but are avaliable. Not too many students get cut from being on the team at Loara, anyone can participate in sports if they want to. They are also sending a student to harvard this summer.

Academics are not bad, however many students fall below state level ib program available, very tough and must be very hard workers. New principle not seen around much.

The choir dept is the best! Mr. McKee knows what he's doing. All the teachers are wonderful. The only problem I see which is huge are the behavior problems of alot of the students and the teachers ignore them-time for constructive disapline so our students can learn! Our teachers would be much happier too.

Loara high school has one of the best acdemic programs I have seen and the Music both vocal and instrumental are some of the best in the state with an extremly high parent involvment in both academics and the arts. I love my school as much as one could possibly hope to. Go Saxons!

The source of the problem with Anaheim high school, is that the teachers there are forced to deal with tough problem teens without any means to discipline them. This results in having the class taken over by such kids due to the lack of a sound discipline system. To be fair however, the problem is not only at Anaheim, but other schools within Southern California.

The office staff, the teachers seem very concerned about the student and are very willing to help in any way they can.

This school is the best school ever! Great teachers and students! They have a great band and teams of every sport! There is no better school than this one in Anaheim! There is also a great program called avid that help student after and before school. This program provides the students with great tutors that come from colleges near like UCLA or USC. Children really get great help from them and more than 60% of children that take this class get into college and graduate with a 3.0 or above gpa. Maybe you should consider to take your child to this awesome school! Get great help from Mrs. balas! She will make your child succeeded!

An ethnically mixed school that can provide a good basis for teens who work hard.
