Great School I'm catching up with all my classes and the teachers there truly care about each and every single one of there students.

My daughter attended Polaris High School and loved it! I think the quality of academics is equal or better because the students work at their own pace. The parents are encouraged to participate but most tend to stay less involved. Unfortunately there isn't any kind of sports or music activities but they do offer other extracurricular activities such as Year Book Committee and things of that nature. The Principal Dr. Delgado is a very strick but a kind person who is there to help the students 100%. School only in a more relaxed atmospherethought they had a great plan to help the children catch up to where they are supposed to be.

My 14yr old attends Polaris and I have to say that I am deeply unsatisfied. I understand that 'most' of the student body has done something to attend this school, however, there are a 'few' children who really should not be in this school. A 14yr old is still very immature to carry out some of the instructions on his/her own. There is one teacher, Mrs. Gibbons who I feel is an exception to this school. I have experienced that she 'truly' does care for her students and she will go the extra mile for them. As for my experience with the other teachers is that they are 'just there'! The children who are under the age of 17 still need guidance and structure. I feel this school does not provide this and most of our children are left to 'fend' for themselves!

I was very apprehensive in registering my son at this school, but have been pleased in his accomplishments. He has re-established self-esteem, and has re-focused his efforts. He feels secure in his surroundings with the control standards set by staff. Overall I am pleased, true I hope to get back to a more conventional type school but, one step at a time!

there is not enough hours of work a day at school. This is not appropriate for under age student, there is absolute lack of learning time to build children of the next generation.
