GO SJM!!! We love this school. My wife and I currently have two daughters attending SJM with a third starting next year. We can't imagine another school we'd send them to. SJM's teachers and staff are simply the best. The teachers are very accessible and go above and beyond the call of duty to help thier students. Mrs. Balsis our principal is truly a blessing and has made many positive changes to our school. I refer to SJM as our school because that's what it feels like "our school". There is a very strong sense of family and friendship here, combined with a strong curriculum and faith based staff you can't beat. The sacrafices my wife and I make simply don't out weigh the education, faith and love our children receive at SJM. Thank you so much to Mrs. Balsis, teachers and staff.

As a parent all I have to say is... SJM is excellent !!! Our oldest will granduate this June and he will be attending Servite come next year. Our youngest has a few more years at SJM. We've been involve in SJM for years now, and if you want your children academically challenged in a spirtual atmosphere, St Justin Martyr Parish school is it... SJM also has a summer school program which my youngest just loves !!!

SJM is a well rounded school. I have a couple kids attending SJM now. We heard great things about SJM from family and friends and decided to move our kids from another private school to St. Justin Martyr School. We are very pleased. The curriculum is challenging but our kids are learning . Mrs. Balsis ( principal ) and the rest of the teachers are genuine. My wife and I feel very blessed with our decision to send our children to attend SJM.

As a Kindergarten Parent I'm so excited to share with you that St. Justin Martyr school is really the school you want to send your little one. Mrs Goythia our Kindergarten Teacher is a gift to our children. My Daughter just loves going to school each and everyday. Indeed we visited other private schools and interviewed other teachers, but after visited SJM, and speaking with the Principal , Mrs. Goythia, reviewing the daily curriculum we new instantly that SJM was the school for our Girl. We are contented after much researching that we came upon and decided to send our child to SJM.

I wanted to take a moment to just share how wonderful SJM is, but really all the previous reviews pretty much sums it up for me. SJM, is the leader of private elementary schools. Leader in academics, faith formation, fellowship among parents, staff, our children. A parish as a whole. My child has been attending SJM for a few years now and soon will be graduating from the 8th grade. It actually breaks my heart to have to leave SJM, but He was well prepared and will now be attending Servite. SJM is family..Principal Balsis not only embraces your child, she reaches out to the entire family and is involve in every single activity in the school. How she does..I don't know :) but she is one of a kind. The entire community loves her !!! I'm glad to see so many new young children attending SJM. Thank you SJM.

SJM is the answers to my prayers. I'm a single parent who really wanted to send my child to a private school. I heard about SJM, but wasn't sure first off if I could afford it. Honestly, thank God for Tuition assistance. The year is half way over, and my child has made a 360 turn for the better in studies , behavior, and actually wants to attend church. This school is amazing, the staff is amazing. I'm a busy Mom, tired at the end of my day, but when when I stop to pick up my child. I find myself just sticking around visiting other parents and before I realize I'm not tired anymore. I commute a good distance everyday so my child can attend SJM...bottom line its WORTH IT !!

After spending a month of researching private schools in the area. We found St. Justin Martyr School to be so inviting. The Principal is well qualified , well known and come highly recommended from other schools and parents. We found the Teachers to be most friendly and are willing to go beyond the call of duty to help your child. We found this out when we asked for additional time to be spent with our Son. I also love the community of St. Justin School. Parents also hang out before and after school just chatting with each other, you hear laughter, and our children witness fellowship. Even Mrs. Balsis(principal), and Teachers hang out after school to visit. Bottom line. ..SJM, is a Gem!!! It is a blessing by God, given to our family and community. We even decided to register in the parish. The parish is well involve in the school.

As parents deciding to send both our children to a private school was going to be a huge sacrifice. Also we were not sure how our children would adapt coming from a public school. Immediately when we met Priciple Balsis and the Staff my husband and I felt very welcomed. In a matter of a week our children fell in love with SJM. Now its been 6 months and we are glad both of our kids attend SJM, and the sacrifice is more then worth it. They look forward to going to school and their grades have never been this good !!! We are so touched when they come home discussing their faith. As parents we feel so blessed. SJM is now our family!!!!

SJM is a great school. Excellent in faith formation and Academics. I have 2 daughters now attending SJM. Both love this school, and look forward to each new day. What touches me as a Dad is the community involvement at SJM. Parish and School are united. I also love the fact that the Principal and Teachers are visable and available before and after school. SJM has its pros & cons but ultimately, it s a great school. The cons are the tuition, service hours & mandatory fundraisers. However, before entering the school, they do make u well aware of all of the above & what is expected. On the upside, there is such an incredible family like atmosphere that you can t help to smile when looking at how happy all the children are. SJM is a safe, well managed school that offers great leadership, teachers, kindness, faith & an excellent curriculum. My child truly loves attending SJM & wakes up actually wanting to go to school, which in my book is major plus! I would highly recommend SJM, just keep in mind that parent participation & helping raise money for the school are an essential part of joining the SJM family.

I have been a student at St. Justin Martyr since kindergarten. The school is really great! The teachers have always been very nice and fair with the students. Our school feels like one big family. I love our sports program and all of the activities that we do. If you're looking for a good school, This is by far the best!

We have been attending SJM for nine years now. It breaks my heart to say that we are leaving the school. It use to be an excellent school, but something has happened over the last few years that has changed the school for the worst. The curriculum is not as strong as it use to be. We no longer feel that positive energy that use to flow through the school. Sadly, after all these years with the school, the principal still doesn't even know our name. We volunteer extensively with the school and our children are actively involved in extra curricular activities. There just comes a time when you don't see improvement and you need to do what is best for your child. Unfortunately, SJM is no longer what is best.

This is an excellent school with a challenging curriculum. The staff is dedicated to the success of all students. I'm not sure who wrote one of the below reviews but if they're concerned about the 'worth' teachers, they might want to consider the education they received.

One of the best kept secrets in North Orange County. St. Justin Martyr offers an academically challenging environment as well as a superb Catholic education. Every instructor highly qualified to teach their respective class. In addition to 'traditional' education activites, we have been impressed with the other classes, including the computer lab, science, mathemitics and language arts. Also, I strongly recommend all students participate in the Junior Thespian Program as well as other extra curricular activities. Parents can enjoy a strong sense of community and the facilities are well maintained and provide a safe environment for our children. If you are not part of this school yet - what are you waiting for?
