Brea jr. High is so cool. They have a lot of interesting teachers. The academic part of the school is taken place in rooms where there is a great atmosphere.

The teachers and staff at BJH are wonderful at first blush. History and Math are finely taught. Science has less to do with Science and more to do with belief. The Art teacher is really really good with this age group.

Brea Junior High is a wonderful school to go to. There is sports teams, pantatholon teams, band and choir. The math teachers at this school put in all the extra time for the students. BJH is also the top ten school in California!

I really think this school rocks. This school is just the best and I have to compliment on mrs. Hazard for being one of the best teachers.

I think Brea Junior high is a great school! From what I've heard from my child, the teachers are kind and supportive. She currently takes guitar lessons at school for her elective. The school has many various electives including band, lifeskills, languages, and video production. They also host sports teams throughout the year. The school is beautiful and just recently modernized. Education is efficient and easy to keep up with. I just really like the way the school is organized.

This school lack programs to support children that do not fit the upper-middle class mold. Because it is the only junior/middle school in the district, there are no alternative for students with special education, language or other needs.

My 7th grader goes to this school. The quality of the educational process here seems quite good. Pros: Great Principal (Dr. Cunningham) and many terrific 7th grade teachers (Barger (math), Adams (History), Hazard & Madden (Science)). Teachers like Mrs. Hazard show true dedication to their students. For example, they fielded a team for Academic Pentathlon this year. Cons: School is under construction for upgrades (still!). Safety is good but discipline is somewhat lax (dress code, language, ect.). It is mostly minor issues, but it can be bothersome.
