We consider ourselves blessed that our children are attending one of the highest ranking schools in Fullerton. Fisler Elementary is a fabulous school and known for being a technology integrated school. This school does need more curricular activities. My children have had a great experience with the teachers. The principal of this school is rude. She needs more of a sense of humor, an initiative, high energy, and a tolerance for ambiguity. This school also needs more diversity, since our society is growing more diverse.

My child is being provided with a safe and stimulating environment. As a parent I am satisfied with my son's academic progress. He is excelling in all his subjects and I am very pleased.

Poor principal, she only cares about high academic scores and laptop. Teachers are requesting too much donations for class needs and a lot of favoritism going on in class. Parents are too much involved in school, some of them actually runs the school. Overall school is out of control.

Wow, where you do start? The Fisler staff really does care about our two kids - one is in the elementary and one in the middle school age groups. We appreciate the technology integration and how it clearly is helping our kids be better prepared for high school and college. As for the laptop program, we were delighted to participate - knowing we'd likely make the investment regardless of whether the school offered it. While the area in Fullerton is not very ethnically diverse, our kids are actually part of the 'minority' and enjoy the cultural learning opportunities.

This is one of the highest academically rated schools in California as well as the US. The were able to achieve that by giving students a higher caliber of learning and helping all the students score phenomenally on their tests. Any parent looking to get their children into a school that helps them advance into the skills that will be relevant for their future in college as well as their professional careers should consider sending their child to a school such as Fisler, that has technology integration and more aggressive curriculum. I myself have worked for large dot com companies and the advancement of technology will make or break a persons career. Do your child some justice and give them the opportunity to integrate technology into their studies.

Poor principal, school focus is on laptops and making the school a showplace for guests, rather than a place for our children to learn and enjoy themselves.

The parent involvement, student engagement, and teacher collaboration is so high here. I have never seen this kind of team effort at a school before!

Very pleased with the school. Love the laptop program, I truly do believe it gives the kids a leg up in presenting their thoughts through technology. Someone brought up the issue of diversity and lack there of. Its not any different from the school that is 65% caucasian and 35% other ethnicity. It just so happens that at this place its 65% asian and 35% other ethnicity. Transferred from private school to here, educational environment much better.

My three sons are attending this school and this far they love it, one teacher in particular is outstanding and my twins are in love with her (1st grade). My son, who is in K-loves his teacher also, more than I can say about the previous school. I try to visit the school once a week, what I see puts me to rest. However, I too see very little diversity!

The school will be going on to its 3rd year this coming Sept and I feel that they have done a great job. They really care about the students and teachers are energetic and eager to teach. Students in turn will enjoy attending school.

Not enough ethnic diversity.
