I love GGHS because it turns out well educated, well rounded students who are prepared to enter the world of adult enterprises.

It is the oldest school in the district, it has hart and loyalty in its current students and its alumni. We just lost one of our star football players to a tragic accident on 9/11 on the football field. This would be a wonderful memorial to his spirit as a Garden Grove Argonaut

I graduated from Garden Grove High School twenty something years ago. My son graduated from GGHS last year and my daughter currently goes there. We recently lost one of our ARGONAUT family members. It is amazing what the young men and woman from GGHS can do when adversity hits. Our principal is an amazing lady and pushes our kids to be the best in and out of the classroom.

Although I graduated from this school....GGHS has proved to be such a dedicated school in which in almost every aspect of the education develops branches out into friendships...from the various clubs, school spirit and life in general, GGHS will always be a family. Even after the devastating loss of a fellow football player merely a few days ago, the school community pulled together and strived to become stronger as the days go on. Simply, GGHS is the best school that I love dearly and forever will... gghs.us

I love GGHS because, well what other school makes an 'all-school' video and senior goodbye music videos? We are UNIQUE.

I was a student here and neither the teachers nor the principal showed any interest in helping me with my education, it's merely a saying of 'Just try harder,' to them

Speaking as a student it is a good school. And belive me, I never thought I'd be saying that. Simply because school isn't for me. Regardless, however, it GGHS is full of caring teachers, understanding staff members if you're not rude, a principal that is firm but cool, and a great environment. If your child complains about the staff members or teachers, maybe it's not them, maybe it's just your child. That's usually the way it goes. I guess we tend to take things personally. I'd recommend this school out of all the other ones in GG.

Excellent high school, one of the best in Orange County. Super principal, diverse student body, lots of tradition and pride. Campus has football stadium, two gyms and 1500-seat auditorium. It's in a nice setting across from the regional library and Community Meeting Center.

This school is one of the best in the area. The extracurricular activities are in abundance and the students seem to try hard and actually look like they care to receive the education teachers 'try so hard' to put out.

The school staff are racist. First off, this is from my experience and are from my point of view. The staff members are truly uncaring and do not provide any help, but merely excuses. They lie and try to screw you over. Be careful...

If you want to provide your child with a good education, keep on looking. This school has low test scores and seemingly easy curriculum, which is probably why standardized test scores are low! a school where any sat score breaking 4 digits is considered astonishing, not many ap classes are offered, and the office staff is extremely rude and difficult, i highly recommend you don't send your child to this school. Also, my child and many of her peers are constantly complaining about how they are treated at school by these office staff members. Ask any child from that school, the office staff members constantly ignore the children, and the children are forced to wait for awhile until they get the attention they need. Seems to me our children are not first priority like they should be.

Garden Grove High School is an excellent school in the urban area of Orange County. Great academic and athletic programs. It is a relatively save school because it is next to the Garden Grove police station. Also being next to a public library gives students a place to study and do homework.

This school really challenged me, allowing me to explore myself and what I love. I received excellent instruction from teachers I really enjoyed. My experience here was very positive. I was just sorry to hear that Mr. Campbell is no longer the principal.
