At Morningside Elementary School, we have great principal, Mrs. Sugamura and great teachers, such as Mrs. Bostick. I like this school, despite the facts that it has not met No Child Left Behind's requirements. Minorities, such as Spanish-speaking students and children with disabilities have failed miserably to meet state standards and NCLB criteria. This is the third year. We can go to Ca Dept. of Education's website to learn about this school's performances. I keep my child in this school because I believe in Mrs. Sugamura's leadership and teachers' qualities, safety and disciplines. However, parents involvements and extracurricular activities for kids at this school are very poor. It deserves only one out of five stars. Thank you.
