Lutheran High School was an incredible experience that I was blessed to have! The teachers are passionate about what they do and truly take the time to explain concepts. As a graduate of Lutheran High I can say I felt well prepared for college. The sports programs offered are intense. What I enjoyed most is that the coaches were former collegiate athletes that could really identify strengths and weaknesses in your game. They also were very serious about keeping a balance and ensuring you kept your grades in check. The facilities are clean, well kept and extremely safe. God s love is shared in every aspect of the high school and a great stepping-stone on this crazy path of life.

I am currently a junior at Orange Lutheran High School and I truly love it. I'm not as wild about Jesus as the other students and teachers so I was a bit worried on my first day freshman year but it wasn't bad or uncomfortable. The theology classes, though theology translates to 'words about God,' didn't try to shove Christianity down your throat. They are open minded and accepting of everyone. Now, if you want a school with rigorous academics, OLu might not be your first choice compared to kids with theatric or athletic aspirations. The academics are not exceedingly advanced but the teachers do demand a hell of a lot from every student, and they don't accept excuses. The most advanced and demanding classes are: Honors and AP Chemistry, AP Language and AP Literature, AP Biology, AP Economics, AP US History, and AP Statistics.

I am currently a freshman at Orange Lutheran. It is not 5-star status, but it's definitely above average. They offer a variety of classes and they even offer online classes which are free for full-time students. However, I do not think that you should come to Lu High because of good education. Sure they have great academics but just as good as a public school. The athletics and arts are decent too. Although they have all these great things I hate the school. The people are just too sheltered and overall just weird. It's annoying having to go to chapel every day even though I love Jesus. It's really just a waste of time. We do nothing. Anyway, it's a pretty good school. but i hate it =P

It is a great school if you an over-achiever but if you are an average student, even one that tries really hard, you wont get anywhere.

I am a senior at LHS and I love it. Great campus and facilities, plenty of opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities beyond sports.

My daughter is a freshman at Orange Lutheran High School. She has been very active in Girls Cross Country and is an honor roll student. She loves the diversity at this school and is thriving. She commutes from Huntington Beach, and we will continue to do this. It is worth our time and the effort is paying off. Her physical abilities are directed and encouraged by a wonderful coaching staff, she has become a committed student and athlete. It is a great privelage to have her their. She went to Christ Lutheran Elementary and on a field trip to Orange Lutheran, felt the desire to seek her high school education at the campus because 'Everyone was so happy and encouraging' she said.

I am very pleased with the leadership at Lutheran High. The prinicpal and Executive Director have a great vision and seems like they are following through with it. They are always taking the school to a higher level in all aspects. I feel very blessed to have my child there.

Our daughter is a Freshman and we are overly impressed at the quality of the teachers and the caring nature of the Principal. The school is focused on turning out highly educated, motivated, Christ centered students. The school is pristine and cleaner than most hospitals. Their new Performing Arts Theatre rivals any of L.A.'s best. We are so blessed to have her here.
