Within five years, many students have been accepted and enrolled to competitive and prestigious universities as: USC, UCLA, Harvard, Brown, Stanford, Long Beach State, San Diego State, Berkeley, United States Military Academy at West Point, Princeton, Cal Poly Pomona and San Luis Obispo, Chapman, Cornell, UCSD, George Washington, University of Chicago, and much more. I learned a lot. Many teachers hold Masters Degrees and come from a very rigorous well trained background. Most of the instructors are bilingual (Spanish, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, French, Dutch, German, Italian, or Hebrew) and therefore may communicate on a one-on-one conference with the students parents. Segerstrom has attracted the brightest and most talented students from around the County. No wonder it is a very competitive school in the district, county, state, and at the nation level.

Segerstrom is a special part of the Santa Ana Unified public school system's 'fundamental' schools. These schools stress language arts, college prep, discipline, personal responsibilty. Parents and teachers and students sign a contract each year to agree to all follow the rules and do their best. Segerstrom has attracted excellent teachers and my daughter has thrived there.

I have been going to Segerstrom all my four years of high school, the academic competition students at Segerstrom maintain has acheived many of the excellent test scores it has recieved. So far every year CAHSEE has improved last year going up to a 97%. All Segerstrom students are very proud to maintain this excellence.

As a soon to be graduating senior, I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to attend a school in which I am challenged in every subject area, however given the support needed to overcome those challenges. The staff is genuinely approachable and they not only are considered 'staff' by students but also people that one can come to and talk about random things that in no way have any correlation to academia or discipline. The teamwork within the students, parents, and staff is evident through the success that the school has been able to achieve these past years. Its nice to be the top school in our district and competitive amongst our county.

It's an ok school. I'm not impressed by the testing results (I've seen much higher). I've noticed that schools with higher test results are a bit more tolerable.

Segerstrom is a wonderful school. I'm proud to say my daughter goes there. Segerstrom is a college bound school that offers many opportunities to help your child succeed. Not just a goal of graduating from high school but a goal to attend college.

I have sent all of my children through the fundamental program. Segerstrom gets the students ready for college and does not tolerate bad behavior. I have no confidence in any of the other schools that are not in the fundamental program.

I could not be happier with my decision to send my son the Segerstrom. He was able to take all of his courses at an Honors level as a sophomore. They even offer 10th grade AP courses. The teachers are committed to my sons education and expect the same out of me. The praise the good and report the bad without delay. They had no varsity sports this year as there were only 9th and 10th grades this year. Next year my son will start varsity football and varsity wrestling. The coaches are amazing and put in an unbelievable amount of hours. Segerstrom High school requires committment by both student, parent and the staff and the results are obvious. I am thrilled and look forward to nest year when I will have 2 sons attending. Angel and very involved parent.

It is an Ok school, but you could make it feel more like a high school. For some reason making the leap of middle school to high school was not that great.
